Wow, 200!  For some reason, this feels like such a significant milestone.  Perhaps because the posting has made it through the school year and a move across town.

As an aside, watch out for Days 230-233.  I managed to get my hands on some of the Anime Expo 2013 Event Exclusive scents, and they are just over 30 imps away in my little testing box.

Scent Name:  Nosferatu

Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Diabolus

Scent Description and Notes: “We’ve finally caved in to years of requests for vampiric scents. As soft as grave dust and as dry as a breath drawn within a long forgotten crypt, this is Nosferatu: desiccated herbs and gritty earth brought to life with a swell of robust and sanguineous red wines.” -BPAL

Oil Color: A slightly cloudy lemon fluff color (think nearly not yellow, but just enough to read as it).

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). The label wrapped around the bottle features an Art-Deco inspired Phoenix with the name of the company at the bottle of the image. On the other side, the title of the scent written in large, clear black font outlined with red on the front.

Scent:

  • In the Imp (ITI): The red wine is very clear, but it doesn’t come off as candy or cough drops, thankfully.  Underneath, there certainly is just a dash of earth and herbs, like rosemary.
  • Wet: It’s like air freshener as soon as it touches my skin, which is unfortunate.
  • Dry: The freshener aspect dies down, while the herb and earth notes come forward and the wine adds just a bit of sweetness.  I’m still not terribly found of wine scents, so I think I shall pass.

Other Impressions: None
