Scent Name: Kill-Devil
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Bewitching Brews
Scent Description and Notes: “Rum punch is not improperly called Kill-Devil; for thousands lose their lives by its means. When newcomers use it to the least excess, they expose themselves to imminent peril, for it heats the blood and brings on fevers, which in a very few hours send them to their graves.”
Sugar cane, molasses, oak wood, and honey.” -BPAL
Oil Color: A bright brassy gold.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). The label wrapped around the bottle features an Art-Deco inspired Phoenix with the name of the company at the bottle of the image. On the other side, the title of the scent written in large, clear black font outlined with red on the front.
- In the Imp (ITI): I can smell the oak and the sugar/molasses, but it ends up reading like wood and cough syrup to me.
- Wet: The molasses is much stronger on my skin, but the oak is giving it a slightly blue scent, as in it is colder and less warm than I expected.
- Dry: After half a say, I get slightly candied molasses. I like this much better dried and with some time to settle down.
Other Impressions: Talcum powder and vanilla according to Tony.
