As you can see, I’m trying to get through my NIfSA scents. before I begin again on general catalog oils.
Scent Name: Pink Mood
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Lupercalia 2010: Novel Ideas for Secret Amusements III: 1/19/10-4/30/10
Scent Description and Notes: “Vanilla, star anise, cherry blossom, peony, violet leaf, and neroli.” -BPAL
Oil Color: A very light white wine color.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). This is a decant from ralenth, who tries to match the bottle art to the art she provides on the imp. On the back, she has the notes of the scent in large, cursive font. On the side, she has her decanting name, while the front features the name of the collection and the name of the scent framing the image associated with the scent. The image is a shunga print a woman biting her kimono (alone) for obvious reasons.

- ITI: Odd. There is a strange paper quality to this scent, like newly pressed washi. Beyond that, I can detect faint neroli and anise.
- Wet: It still smells very similar to the ITI scent, retaining that bark/just pressed paper quality. The star anise, however, is a bit stronger on my skin.
- Dry: Once dried (20 minutes), the scent has become a combination of cherry blossom, anise, vanilla, and just a hint of violet. It’s lovely.
Other Impressions: It smells like licorice and spearmint to my husband.
