This is another scent from the clockwork or steampunk inspired line.

Scent Name: Clockwork Couture: Male

Manufacturer:  Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab –  ClockworkCouture.com exclusive

Scent Description and Notes: Leather, vanilla-infused sandalwood, East Indian patchouli, bitter clove, galbanum, and iron filings.” -BPAL

Oil Color: A light chiffon color.

Bottle Design and Artwork:  This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz).   The label wrapped around the bottle features created by ralenth the scent notes on the back, her decanting name down the side, , and the name of the scent with an image of a nude male with steampunk wings on the front.  The bottle image is a clockwork reinterpretation of the male sign.

  • In the Imp (ITI):  That’s rice, actually.  The clove coupled with the patchouli and galbanum provide softness and spice to the metal aspects of the iron.
  • Wet:  Delicious clove rubbed over brown leather.  The notes above are infused with patchouli and sandalwood.  Ooh, this is bad.  I may need a bottle of this.
  • Dry: It’s much more of a drier spice after it’s had time to settle.  Clove and patchouli are clearly dominant, with sandalwood and hints of leather bring up the bottom notes.  I’d consider tracking down a bottle of it.
Other Impressions: “Mmm, it’s kind of nice, actually.”  He isn’t picking up any individual notes, but he likes it.
