Scent Name:  The Atrocious Attic

Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab –  Halloweenie 2012

Scent Description and Notes: “A shadowy shrine filled with forgotten toys, broken dolls. The altar: a collapsing trunk distended by a rotted wedding gown. The air of the room is dusty, laced with the scent of a child’s perfume and the remnants of a dried, crumbling bridal bouquet: tea rose, violet, white sandalwood, French lavender, and Calla lily.” -BPAL

Oil Color:  Colorless.

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). This is a decant from ralenth.  On the back, she has the notes of the scent.  The side features her decanting name while the front has the company acronym, collection, decanted amount, date, and image.  The black and white image is of a multi-story house with the lights in the attic lit.

  • ITI:  Soft lavender, violet, and sweet rose.  It’s rather pretty.
  • Wet: I get more violet, sandalwood, lavender, and rose.  Oddly enough, calla lily, which usually amps on my skin, isn’t present yet.
  • Dry:  It’s sweetly floral while bring pleasantly powdery.  The violet, lavender, sandalwood, and rose are still prevalent after an hour of drying time.

Other Impressions: “It smells like some kind of flower and a citrus.  It’s nice.  It’s smells like it may even have does apple in there?  Is there some apple in there?” -Tony
