Scent Name: Rakshasa

Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab –  Bewitching Brews

Scent Description and Notes: “This haunting, exotic scent is named in honor of the shapeshifting demons from Hindu mythology. Sandalwood with rose and patchouli.” -BPAL

Oil Color:  A slightly muddled green yellow color.

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz).  The label wrapped around the bottle features an Art-Deco inspired phoenix with name of the company next to the phoenix. On the other side, the title of the scent written in large, clear black font outlined with red on the front.

  • ITI: I like the simplicity of the scent in the bottle: rose and patchouli.
  • Wet: It’s earthy from the patchouli, but almost subtly candy-like from the rose and sandalwood. It’s really a gorgeous scent.
  • Dry: The scent doesn’t change much once on the skin, which I’m thankful for.  The combination of the three notes is just the right balance of resinous, earthy, and floraly sweet.

Other Impressions: “Lime cinnamon.” -Tony
