Scent Name: Purple Snowballs
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Yule 2013
Scent Description and Notes: “Sugar plum snowballs with a touch of currant and cardamom!.“ -BPAL
Oil Color: I cannot tell from the brown apothecary bottle.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a 5ml standard brown apothecary bottle. The label extends just under halfway around the bottom. The label features the name of the company bolded white block font, while the scent name is in slightly spindly purple block font. The image itself is of individuals dressed in long black coats having a snowball fight.
- ITB: It really does smell like sugared plum sushie with hint of currant. It smells delicious!
- Wet: The cardamom makes its debut on my wrist, adding some depth to the berried fruit sushie. It reminds me of all the lovely smells of Christmas, save pine, but it is wonderful none-the-less.
- Dry: After a number of hours, the scent is slightly plum-y with a touch of currant. The slushy aspect of the snow note must have dissipated somewhere in its 17 hour run.
Other Impressions: “It smells like piney, fresh, sweet sea breeze.” -Tony
