While not particularly festive, I wanted to finish off the gingerbread line before moving on the the remainder of the Yules, the 12 remaining bottles, and then the random imp box I have left.
Scent Name: Gingerbread Zombi
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Yule: Gingerbread Cotillion 2013
Scent Description and Notes: “Gingerbread Zombi
I’m all gone!
Gingerbread with dried roses, rose leaf, Spanish moss, oakmoss and deep brown earth.“ -BPAL
Oil Color: – A faint ice wine color.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). This is a decant from Absinthetics. On the back, she has the notes of the scent, the title of the scent in orange, the company acronym in bold, and her decanting information in green. The front is an image of a flexing gingerbread man.
- ITI: It’s that strong gingerbread notes that overpowers almost everything. If I concentrate, I can pick up dried roses and earth.
- Wet: Gingerbread and dried roses – that’s it. It reads as a spicier than some of the other gingerbreads, but it doesn’t have the same depth and complexity as the Villain counterpart.
- Dry: Once it has dried for a few hours, the rose is much clearer, as is the rose-leaf and something that strikes me as a spicy brown musk, which might be all that remains of the gingerbread.
