Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). This is a sniffie from ralenth. On the back, she has the notes of the scent. The front features the company acronym, the title of the scent, the her decanting information, and the date.
- ITI: It’s all patchouli in the imp for me, but at least it’s a sweet, damp, earthy patchouli.
- Wet: There’s just enough for me to test wet, but if it fades before I get home, I won’t be able to reapply. It’s sweet, earthy to the extent of being almost chocolaty, damp, musky, slightly spicy, and faintly resinous, but it in a pleasantly sweet way.
- Dry: Well, I’m surprised to report that at 10 pm, I can still smell “Bloodlust,” and I’m not straining to have to detect the scent either. After 15 hours, the patchouli and vetiver are still distinct, although now the patchouli has mellowed into a more traditional patchouli note, so the scent as a whole is less chocolaty and earthy. This allows the red musk and dragon’s blood resin to settle on top for a resinous and alluringly smoldering scent that has some powerful depth while still being fairly restrained.
Other Impressions: “It smells like rubber, roses, powder…actually, not even rubber, but like one of those brand new self-inking stamps.” -Tony
