Oil Color:  Colorless.

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted by Mystery213.  The back of the label has the scent notes and the decanting information.  The label features the label art that would have appeared on the bottle on front, which is a Japanese woodblock print of two couples towelling themselves off either before or after a romp.  While there is a cherry tree in full blossom peeking through the window at the scene, the print on the clothes the couples are using is indeed cherry blossom petals as well.

  • ITI: Pink creamed strawberries and cherry blossoms.  The strawberry and musk notes toe the line between tweenie-girl strawberry scents from the drug store and the jam and strawberry whipped cream dessert common in July picnics.  The musk and the cherry blossom, however, provide a sophisticated, cool, and delicate counterpart to the strawberry itself, which keeps the scent from skewing completely too young.
  • Wet:  On my skin, the strawberry note settles down just a tad, shifting more toward freshly cut, very ripe strawberry puree swathed in musky cherry blossom petals.  The white musk is simply beautiful with the gentle floral note.  I almost wish the scent was just the cherry blossoms and the white musk, but as it stands, Cascading Cherry Blossoms reminds me of a more demure Victoria’s Secret scent.
  • Dry: While this particular scent doesn’t have much throw and stays very close to the skin after it dries, the notes are still distinct – creamy white musk draped across very ripe strawberries while a gentle hint of cherry blossom petals float in the breeze.

Other Impressions:  None.
