Scent Name: Drag is for Everyone
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Event Exclusive: DragCon 2018
Scent Description and Notes: “Just like any art form, drag is a question with no right answer. Proceeds from this scent will be donated to the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
A universal sheer frankincense and bourbon vanilla skin musk that works on every body type. It can be worn alone, or as a base upon which you layer other scents.“-bpal.org
Oil Color: Colorless on my skin.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 5ml brown glass vial. The label features a dark grey background with what looks like a darker “H”, across which the scent name is emblazoned in black, bold font outlined in red. The name of the company is in a smaller pure red font along the bottom.
- ITB: I was hoping I could pick up on the other notes, but all that’s coming through at this stage is a light but masculine-leaning bourbon note.
- Wet: Light bourbon and and a thin veil of very sheer frankincense sit close to my skin. As it starts to settle, the bourbon becomes less masculine with the subtle warming of some very ephemeral vanilla.
- Dry: After 6 hours, the scent settled down into a slightly resinous, faintly musky vanilla, which I adore! I think Drag is for Everyone is just that – a great layering scent or lovely on its own.
Other Impressions: None.
