Name:  De Sade Resurrected

Manufacturer:  Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab –   Sin & Salvation: Resurrected

Scent Description and Notes: “The essence of pleasure heightened by pain: the raw scent of leather.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/limited-edition/resurrected/de-sade-resurrected/

Oil Color: Colorless on my skin.

Bottle Design and Artwork:  This is a standard brown apothecary bottle.  The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the company and “Resurrected” in orange bold font justified to the left along the top and the bottom of the bottle.  The name of the scent  is in much larger while bold font justified to the right above the company name. The label art is as featured:

  • ITB: Stiff black leather, lightly oiled.
  • Wet:  Wow, on my skin, the leather is so much better.  No longer is it that stiff, black leather, but it is now more of a roughly tanned browned leather, similar to the reins of a bridle, but with subtle undertones of chicory and wood smoke.
  • Dry: I was expecting this to last  much longer, but my skin has appeared to have swallowed the scent whole.  Upon reapplication and second dry-down, the scent turns into faintly dusky, dark leather with a subtle coolness to it.  However, the scent still doesn’t last very long as it is already vanishing after 1 hour.
Other Impressions: None.
