Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Absinthetics. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information and the scent name. The label art is a shunga woodblock print of a man and woman, post coitus, sleeping against a slumbering ox.

  • ITI: Okay, tobacco lovers, take notice.  This scent feels like its steeped in it – thick, swirling, aromatic, and rich.  The fuzzy brown musk  and green cognac notes only intensify the tobacco Hints of wood and peppercorn slink along the bottom, adding to the complexity of this rich scent.
  • Wet: On my skin, the cognac first amps, sweet and boozy, yet sophisticated, before the musk, hiba wood, peppercorn, and tobacco gently warm, lifting up the cognac and adding a pleasant fuzziness to the scent.
  • Dry:  After 6 hours, the scent has mellowed into cognac, tobacco, and a hint of fuzzy musk.  A unisex blend, this smacks of a turn of the century gentle’s adventure club.

Other Impressions: “Holy Sh!t, I can smell you coming!” – Tony  (I was 6 ft away).
