Oil Color: Colorless

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Absinthetics. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information and the scent name. The label art is as follows on the front:

  • ITI: I honestly was expecting to smell farts and bathroom spray.  Thankfully, it smells nothing like that.  Bayou Fluid is a rather interesting limed hooch and osmanthus sitting  under dripping Spanish moss in the lush Bayou.  There’s a hint of swamp jasmine that sets up surprisingly well against a very faint hydrogen sulfide note that waivers just under the surface of this scent. I can’t say is tupelo is showing up since I can’t recall what it smells like despite spending 3 years in Tallahassee, FL.
  • Wet: It’s more limed hooch, swamp jasmine, Spanish moss, and osmanthus atop marshy hints of swamp gas.  Interesting.
  • Dry:  I thought that it had totally dissipated after 6 hours, and while it nearly had, what is left is just mossy pavement.  I’m not sure this would be something I’d reach for consistently, but it is fascinating.

Other Impressions: “Ewwww.” -Tony
