Scent Name: Blood and the Lemon

Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab –

Scent Description and Notes: “I guess we talk about blood a lot in our copy? Coppery, bloody blood and a squirt of lemon.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/spring-collection/the-singularity/blood-and-the-lemon-perfume-oil/

Oil Color: The color of dried blood.

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Absinthetics. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information and the scent name. The label art is as follows on the front:

  • ITI: Smoky, highly resinous and evocative dragon’s blood laced with copper swirls menacingly forth from the bottle, punctuated every now and then by bright lemon juice, like the concentrate from those lemon-shaped bottles.
  • Wet: Yep, that’s dragon’s blood and lemon.
  • Dry:  I love how this dragon’s blood dries down. It’s like a resinous floral with a subtle red smolder.  I can’t find much of the lemon after 5 hours, but I’m okay with that.

Other Impressions: None.
