Oil Color: A rye colored oil.

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Absinthetics. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information and the scent name. The label art is as follows on the front:

  • ITI: Winter cooking spices, grapefruit, and bois de rose overlaid with a lovely creaminess that tames the blood musk and balances the notes into what reminds me of a sophisticated spice cake or fruit cake.
  • Wet: Cream-topped fruit cake heavily spiced with glove, topped with bois de rose.  I wasn’t expecting such a foody combination, but I’m not upset in the least.  It’s pleasing  and certainly makes my mouth water without being cloying.
  • Dry: I had to reapply this one after 10 hours, but what’s left after a second hour dry-down is pleasant – a grapefruit blood musk laced with light clove, a soft blood musk, and sugar-dusted bois de rose.

Other Impressions: “It smells like a tropical lollipop.” -Tony
