Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – In Memoriam: Panacea
Scent Description and Notes: “Snappy-quick PMS relief.“ -BPAL.org
Oil Color: Colorless on my skin.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is the lab’s vintage 5ml brown apothecary bottle. The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the company in small white vertical font on the left-hand side. The name of the sent is placed along the right-hand side in the same fashion, weight, and size. The background of the label is black with a heart stabbed through with three swords, wrapped in a crown of thorns emblazoned on the front.
- ITB: It’s cool and soothing, like the scent of mineral oil and something that’s coolly herbal and almost herbal tea-like with a hint of maybe eucalyptus. It’s hard to identify, but it’s pleasant and a very different scent from the Lab.
- Wet: This is so hard to pin down. It still retains the cool and soothing essence on the skin along with herbal undertones. It brings up images of blue green for some reason. Maybe there’s Comfrey in here and maybe thyme with hints of either camphor or eucalyptus. Either way, it does help with PMS, soothing and centering me.
- Dry: It’s faintly herbal with a hint of grass and something that still hints of eucalyptus but dryer. It works for what’s intended, but I wouldn’t wear this one a date night.
Other Impressions: “It’s hard because I’m smelling a couple of different things, but there’ something familiar about it. There’s some sort of citrus in this, like lemon peel maybe, or Cuties, or a citronella type smell. And I don’t want to smell like citronella.” -Kelly
