I have a backlog of Liliths, so while I wait for the new release, I’m going to review ones I’ve had sitting in my collection previously untested.
Scent Name: Goofballs
Scent Description and Notes: “This one – name, scent, and photo selection – is entirely Lilith’s. She wanted this scent to smell like “how friendship feels when you’re hanging out in the grass.” Per Lilith’s description: ‘wet grass and sunshine, dogs and wood, and my feet in warm dirt and flowers I pick.‘” -BPAL.org
Oil Color: A lemon yellow oil.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Absinthetics. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information and the scent name. The label art on the imp is the same that appears on the bottle.
- ITI: It smells like dewy grass, gently trampled flowers, soft loam underfoot, and a gentle breeze wafting through a park. Wow, this is a fascinating one.
- Wet: This smells much the same as in the imp, but I am detecting a lightly lemony tone that might represent the sun. The wet grass and softly warmed soil notes next to the wildflowers against the background of woods really does invoke images of childhood.
- Dry: Soapy. I really wish it had maintained its original notes as they were so lovely, but all I’m left with is a generalized soapy, clean smell. Dang.
Other Impressions: “It’s like mixed berry, lemon grass, and verbena.” -Tony
