Scent Name: Go Hawks!

Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Lilith: Fatherhood 2019

Scent Description and Notes: “I might have mentioned once or twice that I love the Seahawks, and I have always wanted to share the love with Lilith. This year for the first time she agreed to attend a Seahawks game with me. I was ecstatic to say the least, and as you can see, the best part for her was plushies! Foam fingers! Popcorn! And hot dogs! Twenty years from now, I am hoping she will remember spending the day with her old man and that the Seahawks won the game. Yay! Go Hawks!

I am not sure if I used enough exclamation points, so feel free to add more!

Crisp, wet pine needles, soft mosses, bright bergamot, a bit of Dorian, and Lilith’s favorite lavender.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/autumn-collection/lilith-2019/fatherhood-2019/go-hawks-perfume-oil/

Oil Color: Colorless.

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 5ml BPAL brown apothecary bottle.  The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the scent in large shadowed block, white letters along the top of the bottle, while the name of the company is at the bottom in smaller white block font.  The name of the collection and year are situated just about the company name in an electric blue color. The label art is as follows:

  • ITB: This is all things glorious – I smell wet, verdant pine needles set against the cold sky, shocked with a dashing mossy fougere and a glorious French lavender.
  • Wet: Mmmm, pine needles and moss fresh after a cool winter rain are tumbled together with a lovely fougere and freshly picked lavender.  There is very faint warmth present deep below these gorgeous notes, but nothing clear enough to change to clean, alpine tone of this glorious scent.
  • Dry:  Ugh, this is amazing.  Even 5 hours after application, I get whiffs of Dorian, sugared lavender, and glistening green pine needles as a run around completing errands and it brings such a smile to my face.  There are hints of bergamot if I concentrate and bring my wrist a little close to my nose, but I adore this in every stage.

Other Impressions: “Oh god, I love this one! It’s like a fresh rain and you’re on a hike while it is still drizzling.  It’s that fresh rain, fog, Douglass needles, wet hearth, and moss.  God, I smell good!  It’s so PNW.  If you truly want the PNW smell, layer this with BPAL’s Shipwrecked Graveyard; this reminds me of of the Hoh Rain Forest. ” -Kelly
