Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Yule 2018: Lilith’s Winter Travelogue – Yuletide with Lilith

Scent Description and Notes: “There is nothing mysterious or enigmatic about my kiddo’s smile. Her joy, laughter, and good cheer radiate delight and are impossible to eclipse, even when she’s jetlagged and exhausted.

Bright Italian bergamot, pink grapefruit, sweet California sage, and glittery white musk.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/winter-collection/liliths-winter-travelogue/la-joconde-perfume-oil/

Oil Color: The color of chilled butter.

Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). This is a decant from Yowahoshihime.  On the back, she has the notes of the scent and her decanting name. The front of the label has an image of the label art like below:

  • ITI: Oh, that’s refreshing.  Pink grapefruit emerges as the first note, and while its distinctly citrus, it isn’t overpowering due to the sweetness of the bergamot and and softness of the musk trailing behind it. There’s a hint of sage deep within, but it is mostly buried by the other notes.
  • Wet: That’s nice – musky grapefruit and sage is so pleasing together.
  • Dry: Three hours later, the scent has become very light.  I get a musk that is vaguely grapefruit tinged with an undertone of bergamot.  I don’t get any sage at this point, but I still enjoy this as it is.

Other Impressions: None.
