A hymn for good health and protection of the vulnerable: orange blossom honey, vanilla husk, green stem sap, and a drop of King mandarin.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/in-memoriam/fortuna-balnearis/
Oil Color: The color of new motor oil.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Mystery213. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information while the front of the label features the image name, collection name, company name, and image art. The image art is as follows:
- ITI: Breathy and soft, the orange blossom is tempered by the comforting vanilla husk while the mandarin, fresh with stem still attached weaves its way through the other scents. This is a much more balanced, soothing citrus so far than Fortuna Huiusce Diei.
- Wet: Ah, there’s the green stem sap, deliciously vibrant when paired with the uplifting mandarin. The orange blossom and warm vanilla husk add a soft floral creaminess that evokes images of petals drifting in the wind on a sunlight spring afternoon.
- Dry: Ah, there’s the honey! Thankfully, it’s like a honey dusting powder and it actually smells nice on my skin, unlike some of the other honey notes that I’ve tested from the Lab. After 6 hours, the scent has settled into an orange blossom honey deepened with faded mandarin pulp, softened with vanilla husk. Nice.
Other Impressions: None.
