Scent Description and Notes: White tea and jasmine.

Scent:

  • ITV: White tea, something mildly citrus, and a faint, light floral like night-blooming jasmine.
  • Wet: The jasmine is stronger on my skin and, when paired with the write tea, takes on a slightly Glade, chemical quality.
  • Dry:  It’s now a very pleasant, delicate white tea with the most lovely but not overpowering night-blooming jasmine note. It’s well worth the dry down.
Other Impressions: None.

Scent Name:   Linden Blossom Japanese Loquat No. 106

Manufacturer:  TokyoMilk by Margot Elena – Modern Love Collection

Scent Description and Notes: Linden blossom Japanese loquat.

Perfume Oil Color:  Clear.

Bottle Design and Artwork:  This is a 0.16 oz Eau de Parfum Rollerball glass vial with a black twist cap.  The vial is a clear glass with black font in various sizes that feature the name of the collection, creator, and scent name.

Scent:

  • ITV: I’m not really sure what you anticipate about this sent. Linden blossom I’m note remind me of fresh linen then but I’m not sure about the loquat. Apparently, it is sometimes called the Japanese plum or biwa, but it doesn’t have the traditional flavor profile of the ume. Instead, it has more of a mango and apricot. It’s clean florals and powder with a faint fleshy fruit tone, but not enough to be clearly discernable.
  • Wet: Laundry detergent and ester. It’s a clean scent, but not for me so far.
  • Dry:  Once dried for a couple of hours, the event is a papery linden blossom note with the faintest sweetness possible. It’s certainly clean and feminine.
Other Impressions: “it’s like flowers and fresh cut glass.”. -Tony

Scent Name:   Mandarin Honeyed Rose No. 107

Manufacturer:  TokyoMilk by Margot Elena – Modern Love Collection

Scent Description and Notes: Pink grapefruit and orange blossom.

Scent:

  • ITV: I get a juicy citrus flesh with a very pink smelling, sweet rose. I don’t get much honey, though.
  • Wet: it’s mandarin, the flesh and the rind – a gorgeous note, followed closely by a bright, young rose. Again, I’m not getting much honey other than the impression of “pleasantly sweet.”
  • Dry: It’s a candied rose and citrus, reminding me of Pink Sugar with a bit more floral. Nice!
Other Impressions: None.

Scent Name:   Pink Grapefruit Orange Blossom No. 109

Manufacturer:  TokyoMilk by Margot Elena – Sun Kissed Collection

Scent Description and Notes: Pink grapefruit and orange blossom.

Scent:

  • ITV: it’s very close to just the simple notes. The event is  a delightful citrus with a lovely balance of orange blossom.
  • Wet: the orange blossom is much stronger and grapefruit is more rind than fellah alone, but it’s a gorgeous, bright scent.
  • Dry: while the shortest lived of the last few I’ve tested, it remains true to its wet notes.
Other Impressions: None.

AeItformatting on the next few posts is going to be a little bit different. I just moved to a new house and there’s no internet so I’m having to update on my phone which doesn’t support the WordPress website as well.

Scent Name:   Black Currant Jasmine No. 110

Manufacturer:  TokyoMilk by Margot Elena – Sun Kissed Collection

Scent Description and Notes: Black currant and jasmine.

Scent:

  • ITV: Odd. It’s fizzy, slightly paper-y, with hints of acetone and strange, not so sweet berry.
  • Wet: I’m actually a bit baffled by this. I was expecting a clear berry note and a strong, heady floral. Instead, what I get is something very similar to Fresh’s Hesperides. its busy, effervescent slightly green and it reminds me of currant leaves rather than to berry itself. I’m getting absolutely no Jasmine though.
  • Dry: Again it doesn’t last long but when I compared it to Fresh’s Hesperides, it was pretty dupe, just a touch more green.
Other Impressions: None.

ScentItformatting on the next few posts is going to be a little bit different. I just moved to a new house and there’s no internet so I’m having to update on my phone which doesn’t support the WordPress website as well.

Scent Name:   Ripened Mango and Mandarin No. 111

Manufacturer:  TokyoMilk by Margot Elena – Sun Kissed Collection

Scent Description and Notes: Mango and mandarin

Perfume Oil Color:  Clear.

Bottle Design and Artwork:  This is a 0.16 oz Eau de Parfum Rollerball glass vial with a black twist cap.  The vial is a clear glass with black font in various sizes that feature the name of the collection, creator, and scent name.

Scent:

  • ITV: I get a sweet, sugary Mandarin a touch of rain and just a faint sweetness from the mango. It’s sweet and fruity- very much a summer time.
  • Wet: It is a lightly ester-y scent on first asplication with the bitter citrus tones of mandarin rind and the delicouly acidic flavor if the mandarin flesh. The mango really is overpowered by the mandarin scent but it does have a slight sweetness to it that could be the mango peeking through. Thankfully, the alcohol based for this and is in very strong so you get the tones of the fruit immediately.
  • Dry: I think I’ve gotten used to perfume wales. Even after 12 hours of expecting there to be something last but there’s absolutely no scent at all. After v reapplication and a few hours, it’s only lightly sweet and citrus-y, bit nothing b distinct enough to differentiate what they actually are without knowing the name or notes.
Other Impressions: None.

Perfume Oil Color:  Solid perfume while in color.

Bottle Design and Artwork:  This is a 2oz solid perfume container, the bottom half of which is a double-walled clear glass.  The lip is an aluminium color with the name of the company, their crest and the designer in relief on top.  The bottom has a clear sticker with a running ostrich just about the name of the scent, the number of the company, and the company website in a warm gray font.

Scent:

  • ITB: I get crushed grass, pulled weeds, and a fresh, slightly bitter sake.
  • Wet: the bitter green is pretty dominant, but there is enough plum and sake to keep it from being too disconcerting. The only problem is that I’ve had this for so long that the base is going rancid.
  • Dry: it’s much sister, like sake lees and a plum floral. I’m not sure it’s worth the base smell, though.
Other Impressions: None.

Scent:

  • ITV: Yum – it’s dark, musky, and frankly, intoxicating from the combination of tonka, vanilla bean, and sandalwood. There’s a hint of something birght, but it’s so light that I can’t tell if it’s the tea or the citrus.
  • Wet: Ah, there’s the sparkling citrus (it does have a slight champagne effervescence) and white tea just on top of the heady tonka, vanilla, and sweet, swirling sandalwood.  Femme Fatale, indeed.
  • Dry:  It’s a bit more powdery once dry, but it still reads as seductive (thank you white tea and citrus) and a bit dangerous due to the dark vanilla bean, tonka, and sandalwood.  I’d consider getting a bottle of this one.
Other Impressions: None.
