Scent Name: Old Moon
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – A Little Lunacy 2012
Scent Description and Notes: “OLD MOON
The scent of things drifting just on the edge of memory, hiding in shadowed corners. Old, yellowing books, dust-covered toys pushed to the back of the attic, windows obscured by thick, thorny vines, letters discarded, and photographs of people long-forgotten.“ – BPAL
Oil Color: – I cannot tell the color of the oil by looking into the brown apothecary bottle.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a 5ml standard brown apothecary bottle. The label extends just under halfway around the bottom. The label features the name of the company along the bottom in thick, white block font. The scent name is in a wider block font along the left with the collection in very small font direction below it. The image is of moonlight casing a twilight illumination on forgotten objects from skulls to pearls to spider webs on and around a desk.
- ITB: I get a green scent, like ivy, with musk and just a hint of leather and folio paper.
- Wet: The green scent really comes out on my skin, but I’m getting a lovely sweet musk worn into just a little leather. The paper scent is very gentle and takes some time to tease out.
- Dry: Light leather, musk, and the faintest hint of old paper. Love it!
