The title of the collection and the name of the company are in a different smaller white block font in black text boxes at the top and bottle of the label. The label art on the bottom is as follows:
- ITI: (2014) I get hay in late fall, vetiver, and bergamot – it’s distinguished, gentlemanly, but approachable. (2019) Mmm, that’s deliciously masculine and refined. Confident and dapper bourbon vetiver cloaks itself in Italian bergamot, which lends a very subtle sweetness to the sheer masculinity of the bourbon vetiver. The hay here is subtle but grounding.
- Wet: (2014) Smoky vetiver is followed by a really delightful but full-bodied opoponax note, steeped in bergamot. Yum! (2019) I’m getting a bit more of the tender, almost grassy hay note just before the gorgeous bourbon vetiver, which reminds me of expensive aftershave and musk. Around the edges, the bergamot flits, enticing me to fall into the velvet darkness of this gentleman caller. There’s something strangely nostalgic about this, like Ralph Loren’s Polo Cologne.
- Dry: (2014) It’s an odd mix between clean (hay and bergamot) and smoky vetiver, but as a whole, it’s a nicely refined scent that does seem to evoke its namesake relatively well. (2109) After two hours, the throw and intensity of the scent has diminished significantly. Now, it’s a subtle hay earthy vetiver with a hint of bergamot. It almost smells sun-faded at this point.
Other Impressions: “It’s a little on the sweet, soapy side. It smells familiar. Actually, it reminds me of an ex-boyfriend. He used to wear one of those older, stupid expensive colognes. Nevermind. Pass.” -Kelly
