Scent Name: Lilith Nightingale
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Lilith 2018
Scent Description and Notes: “Whenever I’m sick, tired, or just run down, Lilith always tries to help out. She’s always helpful, but when someone is feeling poorly, she’s an absolute angel.
This year, now that she’s a little bit older, she’s taken to cooking a bit here and there. Here, she’s stealing my Evil Dead shirt and making kitchari for me. I was feeling under the weather, and she wanted to take care of me. Oh my GOD, I love this kid.
(She’s taken to wearing protective goggles that Brian gave her every time she cooks.)
A bundle of Ayurvedic spices warmed in cream, with a little bit of dried fig and sweet dates.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/limited-edition/lilith-2018/lilith-nightingale/
Aryuvedic Spices: While I’m not sure which spices Beth included specifically, the spices that are generally used include cumin, fennel, turmeric, mint, coriander, hing, black pepper, ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon.
Oil Color: The color of beeswax
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Yowahoshihime. Her label features the scent notes and her decanter information on the back. The front has the name of the scent and company name along with the label art, which is as below:
- ITI: At first, I’m struck y the warmth and deliciousness of the cream note (like a creme brulee), but then come the spices, ginger, coriander, and mint are discernible to my nose. The sweetness of dates swirls just underneath.
- Wet: Once on my skin, the fig amps considerably, with a fringe of now bitter spice and herbal elements with only the memory of cream. It’s a bit overpowering at the moment. If the cream comes through, the fig settles, or the herbal quality of the spices reduces at all, than I think I would like
- Dry: Soft spiced cream with a hint of earthy sweetness. This is much better dried.
Other Impressions: None.
