Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted from an original bottle. The label only displays the name of the scent, the collection and company name along with the date (09/2015) on the front with the scent notes on the back. I don’t know who originally decanted it. The original label art is as follows below.
- ITI: Thick black cherry steeped in cassis and freshly ground cardamom, deepened with a billowing smoked patchouli. There’s a tinge of verbena that follows the cherry, like a glimmer of light of the cherry’s richly glistening surface. Ooh, this is dark and sinister!
- Wet: At first, I pick up a slight verbena tone that shifts to cherry bubblegum before the spices billow forth, like the deep, throaty chords that build to a crescendo. A minute in, that dark cherry is wrapped in fiery cassis and spiced cardamom with just a small flourish of patchouli in the back. And talk about throw! This isn’t a scent to apply right before walking into an office because my arm is a good foot away from my nose and the scent is still palpable. It’s dark, daring, sexy, and bold.
- Dry: 7 hours after application, much of the distinctly dark cherry has faded along with much of the hotness from the cassis, although there still is a red-tinted cherry flicker under soft verbena and a whisper of patchouli.
Other Impressions: “Like Red Hots and cranberries.” -Tony
