Another scent from the Mad Tea Party line that I didn’t realize I had. I love woodsy scents, but I’m not sure how the fruit will pan out.
Scent Name: The Red Queen
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Mad Tea Party
Scent Description and Notes: “Deep mahogany and rich, velvety woods lacquered with sweet, black-red cherries and currant.” – BPAL
Oil Color: Completely clear.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). The label wrapped around the bottle features an Art-Deco inspired Phoenix with the the name of the company at the bottle of the image. On the other side, the title of the scent written in large, clear black font outlined with red on the front.
- In the Imp (ITI): It almost smells like chocolate-covered cherries with a hint of currant.
- Wet: Maraschino cherries (but a bit darker) and just a hint of wood.
- Dry: The scent it totally gone after 13 hours. Retesting it, the dried down scent is very faint currant and some woodiness. However, even on retest the scent was gone within a couple hours.
