Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Mystery213. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information while the front of the label features the image name, collection name, company name, and image art. The image art is as follows:
- ITI: As soon as I hope the bottle, a powdery honey myrtle leaps so my nose and is quickly swept aside by a soft cedar and grey-toned ambergris. There’s a hist of cistus underneath, which rounds out the scent nicely.
- Wet: Oh, I like this so far. It’s a well balanced blend of soft cedar (not ridiculously astringent as in some other blends) married with cistus, a sweet grey-toned ambergris, a beautiful swaddling of white oudh, and a thin thread of sage. It’s resinous, hazy, and wise. Woody, resinous, and herbal, this is a delight to my senses so far.
- Dry: After 6 hours, the scent, very close to the skin, is a muted combination of faded honey myrtle, light cedar, and cistus. It’s like a sweetened, slightly resinous skin musk. Nice.
Other Impressions: “What the F is that? It’s like peppercorns and something else. No! It’s Jelly Belly black pepper jelly beans! It’s like a fragrant sweet peppercorn.” -Tony
