BPAL, butter cream frosting, CBLDF, chocolate, chocolate cupcakes, cupcake, dark delicacies, filth, frosted chocolate, frosting, limited edition, Post War Trade, retail exclusive, who killed Amanda Palmer
This is a partial imp that someone included for me. It certainly has me interested as far as the name, but I imagine that it will be rather foody.
Scent Name: Cupcake Splatter Pattern Analysis
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and Dark Delicacies–Retail Exclusive: Who Killed Amanda Palmer? (CBLDF 7/09, Post War Trade 9/09)
Scent Description and Notes: “Frosted chocolate cupcakes and filth.” – BPAL
Oil Color: A very pale yellow color.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). The label wrapped around the bottle features just the name of the font in a near cursive font. As this is a non-lab created imp, it does not feature any artwork.
- In the Imp (ITI): On the initial sniff, I get chocolate and butter cream frosting.
- Wet: I get more chocolate on my skin (I think my skin amps it) than butter cream. There is also the faintest hint of soil.
- Dry: As it dries, the chocolate becomes less prominent and allows for the butter cream to share a supporting role. I don’t get the filth aspect (dirt) anymore – just chocolate, chocolate, and a hint of frosting. It’s not as horribly foody as I thought and if I ever wanted to smell super sweet but not sickeningly so, I would reach for this.
