Scent Description and Notes: ”
Though I am old with wandering
Through hollow lands and hilly lands
I will find out where she has gone,
And kiss her lips and take her hands;
And walk among long dappled grass
And pluck till time and times are done,
The silver apples of the moon,
The golden apples of the sun.
Heirloom Malus, ylang ylang, white and blue musks, crystallized vanilla, tiare, frangipani, and bergamot.” -https://scentbase.com/scents/black-phoenix-alchemy-lab-bpal/the-glittering-apple-of-the-stars/201109081910091898
Oil Color: The color of light rum.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted by Crown & Tulip. Her label features the her decanting information and symbol. The front features the name of the scent, the collection, and the company name. The label art associated with this collection is below:
- ITI: Heirloom Malus positively floats in clouds of fluffy vanilla and tiare, lined with threads of blue musk and bergamot. So far, this is ethereal, fragrant, and lovely. I can’t wait to test this on my skin.
- Wet: The scent is a touch sweeter on my skin, more apple juices on clouds of musk and vanilla, but now these gauzy clouds of scent delight have been adorned with gentle ylang yalng and soft bergamot.
- Dry: Nearly two hours after application, I’m adoring how soft and sweet this is, like gossamer clouds of softly scented apple and vanilla musk with delicate undertones of subdued white florals and tiare. I’m surprised that this lasted throughout the night and well into the afternoon. 19 hours after application, I can still detect vanilla, tiare, and a hint of frangipani musk.
Other Impressions: “Old books and oregano.” -Tony
