Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Yule 2018: Lilith’s Winter Travelogue – Yuletide with Lilith
Scent Description and Notes: “Lilith at Petersfriedhof, the oldest cemetery in Salzburg. As the bells of Stift Sankt Peter tolled around us, we wandered through the graves and the catacombs that date back to Late Antiquity.
Benedictine incense drifting on a frost-chilled December breeze.“ -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/winter-collection/liliths-winter-travelogue/snow-of-the-gravestones-at-petersfriedhof/
Oil Color: The color of a diluted lemon icee.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). This is a decant from Yowahoshihime. On the back, she has the notes of the scent and her decanting name. The front of the label has an image of the label art like below:
- ITI: Wow, gorgeous, austere resin incense tinged with copal sweetened perfectly with crisp snow.
- Wet: The snow is more forward on my skin, sweet yet refreshing, like spearmint and frosted rosemary. As that settles 10 seconds in, the incense begins to coil itself around the snow – soft and contemplative. It smells like less copal on my skin and more like myrrh and palo santo.
- Dry: After 10 minutes, the scent is certainly more myrrh and palo santo with hints of candied snow. I am a fan already! Two hours later, it’s faded church incense smoke chilled in the air.
Other Impressions: “It smells like rose and myrrh.” -Tony
