Scent Name: Snakes Slithering through Stinging Nettles
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Serpent Spring
Scent Description and Notes: “Snake Oil, nettle leaf, dandelion sap, mullein, and tea blossom.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/spring-collection/serpent-spring/snakes-slithering-through-stinging-nettle-perfume-oil/
Oil Color: Colorless on my skin.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard brown apothecary bottle. The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the scent in a bolded faintly spring green block font just above the company name, which is in a smaller version of the a shadowed white version of the name’s font. The label is as follows:
- ITB: Lightly bitter nettles and dandelion sap sweetened with a touch of sugared vanilla and clean tea blossom. It’s definitely a dark green, almost medicinal scent.
- Wet: The nettles turn peppery on my skin next to the pleasantly bitter note of dandelion sap. The Indonesian oils waiver in the background, a refreshing exotic sweetness while the tea blossom adds a refreshingly clean note that adds a momentary respite to the dark green tones.
- Dry: The green herbal qualities of this scent dissipate entirely on my skin after 6 hours. What I am left with is Snake Oil with a subtle clean tone from the tea blossom. I like this much better dried.
Other Impressions: None.
