Scent Name: Yuletide at Heathrow
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Yule 2018: Lilith’s Winter Travelogue – Yuletide with Lilith
Scent Description and Notes: “Honestly, there are a lot of smells in any given airport that I probably shouldn’t translate into a perfume, but this particular scent was inspired by this radiant ribbon tree at Heathrow and the joyful little girl standing in front of it.
Sparks of snow-white musk dotted with shining bulbs of blackcurrant, plum, and lavender.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/in-memoriam/liliths/liliths-winter-travelogue/yuletide-at-heathrow-perfume-oil/
Oil Color: Colorless.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 5ml BPAL brown apothecary bottle. The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the scent in large shadowed block, white letters along the bottom of the bottle, while the name of the company is at just below that in smaller white block font. The label art is as follows:
- ITB: Plum and white musk come on strongly before the lavender tears through in a screaming shock of herbal before the snow musk cools everything down. It reminds me of something from Bath and Body Works.
- Wet: Lavender, blackcurrant, and plum swirl together in a soapy sweetness tinged with something that reminds me of fir trees.
- Dry: After 7 hours, I get a powdered blackcurrant musk speckled with plum. It’s still assertive and quite purple.
Other Impressions: “Oh, that’s nice. That is something I’d wear myself. It’s like evergreen, pine, and herbal. I like it.” -Kelly
