Oil Color: A bright hi-lighter yellow oil on my skin.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a 5ml standard brown apothecary bottle. The label extends just under halfway around the bottom. The label features the names of both companies framing the top and bottom of the label in yellow block font outlined in blue. The name of the scent is centered across the Union Jack background in a larger version of the same font, outlined in red.
- ITB: Well, that’s interesting. I was expecting something a bit more sweet but the neroli bursts forth swathed in bitterness and almond blossom. I hope it changes once on the skin. It’s one of the few times I’m actually rooting for the sugar note.
- Wet: I’m still getting bitter neroli steeped with dark orange zest. The orange blossom with faint marzipan tones sweetens the scent a touch as it starts to settle with a pinch of sugar.
- Dry: After three hours, the scent has mellowed to a soft sugared blood orange over a much tamer neroli. There’s a dryness to it that I think is from the almond blossom, but it’s fairly non-descript.
Other Impressions: None.
