Scent Name: My Little Themysciran Princess
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Fatherhood: Lilith 2017
Scent Description and Notes: “As I was carrying Lilith around the San Diego comic con, people would stop us and ask to take a photo of her cosplaying Wonder Woman. As I set her down, a change would come over her: she would light up, engage the person, and charm the hell out of them while the photo was being taken. She would be so charismatic and charming, and then would then come back to me, this shining, happy little kid, and ask to be picked up all over again. I was so proud of her, and I love my lil Themysciran princess.
Rich, sweet, valiant amber, coconut milk, honeyed saffron, gleaming gold-gilded leather, and sweet olive blossom.“ -BPAL.org
Oil Color: A saffron colored oil.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 5ml BPAL brown apothecary bottle. The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the scent in block, white letters along the top of the bottle, while the name of the company is at the bottom in smaller white block font. The name of the collection and year situated just above the company name are in a sunflower yellow color. The label art is as follows:
- ITB: Hmm, that’s interesting. I’m getting gold with a touch of leather and olive blossom. I’m glad I’m not getting much honey at this point.
- Wet: There’s something that skews just a bit toward the masculine cologne range, but I think that might be the combination of leather and gold. As it sits, I get a subtly sweetened olive blossom laced with saffron. The throw gets better as this warms on the skin.
- Dry: After three hours, the scent still has good throw, wrapping me in coconut saffron sweetened with honeyed amber and a touch of olive blossom. It’s nice.
Other Impressions: “Does it have pineapple in it? It smells like it has pineapple in it, but it’s a soft one. I like it.” -Tony
