Scent Name: Scent Boom
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – The Singularity
Scent Description and Notes: “A clamorous cacophony of obstreperous, rowdy smells: blood orange, lemon peel, sugar syrup, tangerine, pink peppercorn, tuberose, mango, melon, white tea, and gunpowder detonated by napalm accord and a bombastic, fiery scarlet musk.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/spring-collection/the-singularity/scent-boom-perfume-oil/
Oil Color: It is edged in yellow on my skin.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard brown apothecary bottle. The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the scent in a both a lavender rimmed, thin font and a cartoonist red font outlined in red aligned to the left. The company’s name is in a thick goldenrod block fount in a black text box along the bottom. The label art is as follows:
- ITB: This smells like tropical Hawaiian Punch with a bit more lemon peel and melon. It’s very fruity, although not as cloying as First Fruits.
- Wet: Yep, that’s sweet. It’s tropical Hawaiian Punch, but with much more ripe melon and mango. The lemon peel, tangerine, and white tea add some much needed tartness while the rose note presents a subtle floral that helps add a touch of elevation to the bright, almost bombastic fruit notes.
- Dry: This one faded before the 12 hour mark, so on reapplication and a dry down of 8 hours, it smells like mango cotton candy.
Other Impressions: None.
