Scent Description and Notes: ”
What hurrying human tides, or day or night!
What passions, winnings, losses, ardors, swim
What whirls of evil, bliss and sorrow stem, thee!
What curious questioning glances—glints of
Leer, envy, scorn, contempt, hope, aspiration!
Thou portal—thou arena—thou of the myriad
long-drawn lines and groups!
(Could but thy flagstones, curbs, facades tell
their inimitable tales);

Oil Color: The color of apricot jam.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted by Crown & Tulip. Her label features the her decanting information and symbol. The front features the name of the scent, the collection, and the company name. The label art is below:
- ITI: Oh wow! This has the Lab’s honeyed, woody patchouli that is just so delicious. Mixed with the dark opium poppy and red musk behind it, the scent is dark and alluring at first. The impression of lilac far at the base adds a bright, twinkling element, evoking images of bright Broadway lights late at night.
- Wet: Once applied, the the patchouli and opium slink forth, trailing wisps of vanilla that waiver in the background, followed by a softly smoldering red musk, laced with lilac. It’s complex, full-bodied, and hazily sexy.
- Dry: On my way to bed, I gave my wrist a final sniff and was delighted that it was still present and that it had shifted into a vanilla and red musk (and is that a hint of caramel I detect?) iteration tinted with soft ghosts of opium. I really like this in any iteration.
Other Impressions: “It kinds smells like a cathedral.” -Tony
