Scent Name: My Tiger
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Lilith 2019
Scent Description and Notes: “In folklore, the tiger is a fearsome, ferocious enemy of evil spirits and evil men and protector of the virtuous. The tiger is courage incarnate, joyful power, and a symbol of justice and righteousness. Lilith is my little tiger: a protector and preserver. She is a truly compassionate person, and ever since she was born, she has been a defender of the vulnerable and the meek. She abhors bullying and cruelty, and always stands up for people who are being harassed and oppressed. I admire her moral courage, her devotion to duty, and her dedication to doing what is right no matter the consequences.
A scent of strength and serenity: golden amber and pale lavender, sweet red patchouli and sugar cane.“ -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/autumn-collection/lilith-2019/my-tiger-perfume-oil/
Oil Color: The color of champagne.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz). This is a decant from Yowahoshihime. On the back, she has the notes of the scent and her decanting name. The front of the label has an image of the label art like below:
- ITI: I was expecting more sweet. Instead, I’m getting a gentle, almost drying sugar cane note with threads of sweet red patchouli,, swaddled in diaphanous amber, like a thin knit cardigan.
- Wet: That’s really lovely. The sugar cane is sweeter on my skin, but the way that both the red patchouli and amber enfold the sweetness reminds me of sun-baked fields on the edge of twilight, incense perfuming the air.
- Dry: After 12 hours, I am left with a sun-baked sugar cane note with a hint of amber musk. It’s pleasant and I’m honestly surprised it lasted as long as it did.
Other Impressions: “It’s nice, like berry ice cream.” -Tony
