Oil Color: Colorless on my skin.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard brown apothecary bottle. The label wrapped around the bottle features the phrase “Dragon Marginalia” in small white shadowed block font along the top of the image. The company name is located along in the bottom of the label in similar black block font, while the scent name above that is centered in larger shadowed white block font. The original label art is as follows:
- ITB: Clean and almost soapy at first, the cherry blossom streams gently from the bottle alongside breezy sandalwood and a hint of nondescript pale creaminess. It reminds me of riding a bike, scents wafting past me as the breeze ruffles my hair.
- Wet: The bourbon vanilla is stronger on my skin, but strangely paper-like next to the cherry blossoms. Impressions of slowly-moving, cool water-ways seem to dance in my head when I smell the freshly-applied scents. The rice milk does seem to finally warm after a minute or two, adding back hints of creaminess, but there’s something still that reads as pleasantly soapy. It’s nice, but I’m not sure I would regularly reach for this.
- Dry: (6 hours post-application) Very faded, powdery cherry blossom floral with a pleasantly clean, soapy undertone. There’s a touch of rice milk sweet, but it’s far faded and only somewhat evident at the tail of an exhalation.
Other Impressions: “It smells like a rose was taking a shower in the distance.” -Tony
