Scent Name: Dragon-Smooched Snake Oil
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Etsy Retail Exclusive
Scent Description and Notes: “While creating a 4lb mother bottle of Snake Oil, I had a brain fart and accidentally dropped honey accord, extra patchouli, and dragons blood into it. While it is another Horrible Error, I figured that it might be a Horrible Error that some people might enjoy.” -BPAL.org
Oil Color: A lovely orange colored oil.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a 5ml standard brown apothecary bottle. The label extends just under halfway around the bottom. The label features the name of the company in thick white block font along the bottom. The name of the scent is as if on a post-it note in black block handwritten font across a larger apothecary bottle with red correction text above and below “Snake Oil”. Image art is as follows:
- ITB: Sweet patchouli warmed with dragon’s blood resin, swirled with exotic honeyed spices. Smooth and softly spicy without being overwhelming foody. Lovely.
- Wet: Indonesian oils atop earthy honeyed patchouli and dragon’s blood resin. There’s a subtle tone of honeyed vanilla (although light on the sugar), but the resins take precedence right now.
- Dry: I’m getting thick honeyed vanilla macaroons atop a subtle layer of incense and subtle dragon’s blood resin. It’s a bit foody, but not to the point of cloying.
