Oil Color: Colorless on my skin.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard brown apothecary bottle. The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the company in thin block font in a a white color along the bottom of the label. Above that is the name of the scent in a bolded larger orange smoked black font outlined in black. The name of the collection is in a smaller version as the company name located at the center top of the label. The label art is pictured below:
- ITB: Crisp, sweet snow notes mingled with undertones of juicy blueberry (BPAL’s snow notes usually read as fruity to me) at first blankets my initial impression before the sandalwood incense smoke drifts through the quiet landscape painted in my mind.
- Wet: There’s a bit more crisp astringency on my skin, almost as if juniper needles peak through the snowed note. It takes about 15 seconds before the sandalwood smoke starts to warm. As it is now, the scent is cool, crisp winter forest blanketed in a vaguely purple fruited snow, perfumed ever so slightly with incense smoke in the distance. Very nice.
- Dry: I’m honestly impressed that this lasted through chores and a shower. Even now, I still get beautiful woodsy incense smoke -dry, pale, serene and contemplative.
Other Impressions: Lovely. I can see myself reaching for this often.
