Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard vial / imp size (1/32 oz) decanted by Ralenth. The label features the name of the company and the name of the scent in a soft sand-colored font framing the label artwork. The collection name and date are featured along the side of the image. The scent notes are displayed on the back, with the decanting information printed on the side of the label itself. The bottle art on the website is as follows:
Scent:
- ITI: Bourbon and drying sweet red rose petals perfume the air upon capping the vial. The vanilla pings between the patchouli and the bourbon before the bourbon tone reasserts itself as I explore the layers of the scent. This is followed by a lovely, rooty patchouli deep below the top notes. I’m really excited about this so far.
- Wet: It’s lighter on my skin than anticipated – only a soft red rose meets my nose at fist, but after a few seconds, the bourbon vanilla pushes the rose forward, velvet petals unfolding under the spiced, almost tobacco-like tones of the bourbon and chewy patchouli. It’s gothic, moody, brooding, and perfect.
- Dry: After 8 hours, the scent has settled into a soft, powdery red rose set against a hazy background of bourbon patchouli with a touch of of cinnamon- (pepperberry?) toned balsamic labdanum. I think this is my favorite amongst the Liliths this year. Granted, it’s a deep rose, patchouli, and quite gothic, so of course it’s going to be a win for me.
Other Impressions: [Wet] “Rose with a little bit of tobacco at the back.”-Tony
