I thought I had found and reviewed all my Lupercalia releases. I didn’t realize the Fortuna line was part of that release, too.

Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Lupercalia 2018: Hymn to Fortuna 2018

Oil Color: The color of melted butter.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Mystery213. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information while the front of the label features the image name, collection name, company name, and image art. The image art is as follows:
- ITI: That is nothing like I anticipated. It strikes me as red candied dragon’s blood musk swirled in rich, dark tobacco and dark leather. It definitely clouds the head that transports the senses with floral and bloodied, almost sensuously frenzied tones.
- Wet: Softer, yet still red, floral, musky and sweet – dragon’s blood is now enrobed in frankincense softening the fire, yet the fragrant tobacco and leather plants images rugged dreams laced with pheromones. If this were a novel, it would be a bodice-ripper.
- Dry: This has some great throw for a few hours, but when I try to retest at the 14 or 14-hour mark, all that’s left is a nice red musk, tinged ever so slightly with dragon’s blood and a hint of resiny sweetness.
Other Impressions: “It smells like canned peaches, honey, and oregano. Weird. Not bad, just weird in that I wouldn’t have though to put them together.” -Tony
