Scent Name: Daybreak
Manufacturer: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – Liliths 2017
Scent Description and Notes: “Just a photo of Lilith and Pickle that I took one morning. I love this little human so, so much.
Last night’s lavender drops and a whiff of Pickle’s vanilla coconut pupper shampoo.” -https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/shop/limited-edition/lilith-2017/daybreak/
Oil Color: Clear on my skin.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard BPAL brown apothecary bottle. The label wrapped around the bottle features the name of the scent in bold, white letters along the top of the bottle, while the name of the company is at the bottom in smaller white block font. The name of the collection situated just about the company name and is in a lilac color. The label art is as follows:
- ITB: I get a lovely, French lavender note. I can’t really tease out the other notes, but I’d say the lavender note is creamer than what I would imagine, so that might be the coconut vanilla.
- Wet: Mmm, it smells like freshly picked lavender on my skin. There’s maybe a touch of vanilla at the tail end of the scent, but oh my gosh – that lavender is a star.
- Dry: My skin eats this scent. I’ve reapplied to review about six times. Each of those times, the scent was gone after I returned home. Seventh time is a charge, I suppose. While it’s still incredibly faint after 5 hours, I can pick up a hint of vanilla and coconut. The lavender is just a memory, sadly.
Other Impressions: None.
