Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a 1/32 imp decant. The decant was made by Yowahoshihime, who has the the collection information on the front of the label, and the scent notes and her decanting information on the back. The label art is on the bottle is as follows:
- ITI: Coolly herbal lavender is first to my nose, bringing with it a refreshing calmness that is most welcome. There’s just an inkling of a very faint sweet spice very far in the background, but as of right now, the scent is mostly lavender.
- Wet: The ambrette is a little more distinct now that the oil is on my skin, warming the pleasingly sleepy lavender tones. A light dusting if thin clove spice drifts in the breeze at the tail end of the scent, complementing the star player in this blend – lavender.
- Dry: After over 5 hours, I’m surprised that much of what is left is a pleasantly spiced ambrette that borders on labdanum-tinted. As I’m fond of those tones, I’m not mad that the lavender has vanished at all, but this certainly does shift on my skin.
Other Impressions: [Wet] “Is that lavender, like a F* ton of lavender? It smells like the lavender plant itself, not just the flowers. There’s a definite greenness to it. Yeah, there’s kind of like a dark undertone to it, too.” -Tony
