Scent Description and Notes: “Damask rose, white carnation, lychee, Himalayan cedar, and white honey.” -BPAL.org
Oil Color: The color of a light white wine.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a standard 1/32 ml imp that has been decanted for me by Absinthetics. Her label features the scent notes on the back along with her decanting information and the scent name. The label art is a non-censored version of below:
- ITI: Damask rose, complete with a touch of it’s green leaflets, and a quiet white carnation meet my nose upon initial sniff, which is followed by the vaguest hint of floral that isn’t rose or carnation. The scent is floral but with some interest that moves it away from being too youthful.
- Wet: The lovely Damask rose note, which just seems to bloom next to the carnation, now less quiet and more like itself. I’m not sure if it’s the work of the honey or the lychee note, but I even get the delightful impression of fresh pollen here. As it starts to settle 30 seconds in, the cedar begins to emerge, warm and woody, supporting the beautiful bouquet that is already pressing.
- Dry: After an hour dry-down, my skin smells of velvety petals smoothed with a faded honey sweetness, bright carnation, and perfumed with Damask rose and a touch of pollen. Lovely, honestly. Even after a full 8 hours after application, the scent is still a beautiful floral bouquet, petals still pert and velvety supple, rimmed in a fresh greenness. What a delight of a scent!
Other Impressions: None.
