Scent:
- ITI: Wow, that’s lovely! I’m struck by the clarity of the creamy coconut-like fresh gardenia, light jasmine, and musky floral of pikake alongside a pollenated, tropical vanilla bean. It’s been almost 40 years since I have been to Maui, but this scent reminds me of the island.
- Wet: The florals here are light, tropical, alluring, and inviting, swirling around gardenia and pikake alongside undertones of coconut, warmed vanilla, and amber sands. Lovely.
- Dry: After 6 hours, I’m impressed that the settled scent reads much the same as when it was wet, although now the vanilla is a bit more silken against the tropical, luxuriously waxy and fragrant floral notes dotted with a trace of saphir amber. When I next go on a tropical vacation, this will be coming with me.
Other Impressions: [Wet] “Violet and Bazooka Joe overload. It’s the powderiness, but like the dry, crumbly ones that still smell pleasant.” -Tony
