Scent Name: Fiery Command
Manufacturer: Twilight Alchemy Lab and Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab – General Catalog Ritual Oil
Scent Description and Notes: I cannot find any scent notes.
Oil Color: The color of dried tangerine rinds soaped in oil.
Bottle Design and Artwork: This is an older cobalt colored 5ml apothecary bottle. The label extends just under halfway around the bottom. The label itself looks black, while a cream silhouette for what looks line a vine-leaf mirror outline provides the text field. Across the top is the name of the scent in a block font. Below that is the company’s sigil in lavender, underneath which is the name of the company in a smaller version of the scent name’s font. I cannot find any label art.
Scent:
- ITB: I get a slightly citric tone quickly followed by fiery spice like cinnamon and a wash of white florals like jasmine and gardenia. It smells interesting so far.
- Wet: Yes, slightly citric with white florals and a soft spiciness. At this point, I’m pretty sure there is carnation in there because it has that zesty floral spice with a touch of greenness, alongside perhaps gardenia or night-blooming jasmine. There is a subtle woodiness and just an edge of mint or camphor at the back. As a scent, I quite like it. As for use, I’m not really one to work with compulsion, but maybe I’ll ask for some help with dinner.
- Dry: After an hour, I’m getting a fiery, waxy white florals with perhaps cassia rather than cinnamon, dragon’s blood incense (perhaps), and something slightly woody and minty at the back. As I scent, I quite like it. And for the spell oil? Well, he did agree immediately to make rice. I don’t know if it was the spell oil or me just catching him at the right time. Then again, he knows he makes bomb ass rice. Perhaps this could also be used to strengthen the effect of any other spell or to use as self-command to get past procrastination.
Other Impressions: [Wet] “Like it opens up with like artificial grape for some reason in my nose but then that quickly fades and turns into like bitter tobacco touch of leather and petrichor. I got a quick Dimetapp-y note, then I faded away.” -Tony
