Scent Name: Arizona – Sage and Honeycomb
Manufacturer: Possets Perfume – Former Permanent Blends aka The Orphans Archives
Scent Description and Notes: “I have had a lot of requests for a desert scent. Many people love the sagey smell and thin clean atmosphere that comes with some very heat. Arizona seeks to capture the spirit of the state. A drop of honey mingles in the astringent fuzziness of sage, a good shot of evening musk lets you know that people really are here. A very beautiful blend, clean but appealing and bright. Herbal, bright, musky. USA.” -https://scentbase.com/scents/possets/arizona-sage-and-honeycomb/201009122352229102
Oil Color: The color of straw in afternoon light.

Scent:
- ITI: At first, It’s nectarine-honey before it cools in hue, tempered by a round evening musk interspersed with soft sage that reminds me of traipsing through the dry back countryside in the early evenings.
- Wet: There’s still a fruitiness to the honey (but it’s pastel muted) note that actually reminds me of Fruit Loops, but the memory of Fruit Loop dust well after the sharp fruity tang has left. The sage is crisp and cool alongside the clean evening musk.
- Dry: After 12 hours, I’m happy that I still have about an 1″‘s worth of throw as the warmth from the dry honey muddled with sage and desert musk is quite pleasant.
Other Impressions: [Wet] “Light sweat and berry-scented Jellies (jelly sandals). You get the light sweat and then that plasticky artificial berry smell.” -Tony
