Scent:
- ITI: Ooh, the cocoa butter and toasted coconut alongside the chocolate here smell like a lovely mocha latte quickened with a splash of raspberry syrup and a small spoonful of deliciously vanillic ice cream. It’s warm, foody, but quite cozy.
- Wet: Oh yeah, heavy cocoa butter enrobed in waxy, round, warm vanilla buttercream, the kind you know you really shouldn’t be eating, but it tastes too dang good to just have 1 bite, meet my skin first. I’m still getting something that reminds me of coffee in the best kind of way, specifically the Godiva Chocolate Truffle coffee that I have, but Silver Star is more coconut husk/hazelnut-toned white chocolate. After a minute, something turns ammonia-like to my nose, but I can’t figure out what is doing that. Mind you, I am getting sick, so that could just be my nose at the moment.
- Dry: After 5 hours, the scent has settled into a buttery white chocolate-toned vanilla ice cream sprinkled with toasted coconut with a touch of musk. There’s an almandine quality to it as well that I like. I do like its take on vanilla at this point.
Other Impressions: [Wet] “Cashew butter. No, cashew brittle.” -Tony
